Instrument Preamplifiers
We started making the FELiX 10 years ago. Many of our musician friends were chomping at the bit to have something better than the usual stage boxes that were around at the time. The bravest among them had even resorted to carrying big ol’ 19″ racks with various bits of studio kit loaded up inside. Not very rootsy and not very fun.
Today, our pedals can be found on stages around the world – from the Grand Ole Opry, to virually every music festival where acoustic folks are plugging in. We are stoked that these pedals have helped so many performing musicians to sound and play their very best.

FELiX2 Instrument Preamplifier
Packs an entire rack of high-quality studio gear into a compact, bomber floor pedal. 2 preamps, a Grace Design mic preamp, 2 EQs, 2 DIs, a transparent boost circuit, all hooked up with a dizzying array of routing and setup functionality. Truly the overflowing kitchen sink of blender / dual acoustic preamps, FELiX2 is designed for any player with any instrument in any genre that wants the best audio performance and functionality they can find.
ALiX Instrument Preamplifier
Brings almost everything that the FELIX2 provides, but in a smaller one channel box. Take ALiX out if you just need a single channel of the best preamp, EQ and DI we make. Also, after we amputated the extra channel off FELIX2 to make ALiX, there was some leftover 9VDC power on-board, which we plumbed to the rear panel to power up a few pedals on your board. Oh yeah, just like the FELIX2, ALiX can be had in black or silver to match your mood.
BiX Instrument Preamplifier
Delivers barely any of what the FELIX2 does, except ALL OF THE TONE. The BiX is for anyone who has a great sounding pickup system and doesn’t need the massive payload of features and EQ power of the other units. Just simple and effective high and low tone controls, the mandatory boost / mute switches, and the same killer output ISO transformer and heaps of the robust, detailed tone all these preamps are known for.
MOXi Instrument Preamplifier
Think of MOXi as a mini FELiX2, or a double BiX, or better yet its own beast. 2 channels simplified with a single DI output. Blending or A/B operation. Each channal has an independent EQ featuring HIGH, LOW, HPF and a sweet sweepable MID. Both 1/4” inputs can power up a lavalier style electret mic, including the DPA™ and various other models. Variable 10dB boost and the pedalboard friendly 9VDC power round out this 2 channel powerhouse.
ROXi Microphone & Instrument Preamplifier
ROXi is a high-performance Grace Design mic preamp, cleverly packaged in rugged pedal chassis, designed to inspire new creative possibilities for performing and recording musicians. Think horn players, singers, harmonica shredders, one-mic bluegrass bands, Metal-Polka accordion acts, or anybody who wants Swiss Army knife style stompbox flexibility for their microphone.
REX Microphone Preamplifier
