Our friend @jaymestone graciously lent us his talent and studio to film him tracking with the new ROXi microphone preamp using the a microphone with FX pedals in the insert. He added some loops the result is this amazing bit of playing.

About Jayme Stone:
“On any given day, you might find him in his studio reworking a little-known hymn learned from a field recording, producing a session with musicians from Bamako or New York, creating experimental soundscapes, or tucking his kids in on time so he can get back to writing the next verse of a new song.”
We met Jayme a few years ago as he geared up for a tour and wanted to integrate a FELiX into his live rig. Since then we’ve had the pleasure in getting to know him and see him play. His virtuosity is matched by his boundless creativity and joyful curiosity. He’s tough to put in a box, so we won't bother.
Jayme graciously lent us his talent and studio to film him working with the new ROXi microphone preamp. We asked him create a piece for solo banjo using the ROXi and a microphone with FX pedals in the insert for color. He agreed and created this arrangement of 'Elyne Road' by Toumani Diabaté, including some loops, and result is this amazing bit of playing.
